About the trip
The monsoons are when the parched land is finally given some relief and the ecological balance is restored. It isn't only the agriculture of the country that turns on these rains, they invite people to slow down, to sit with a plate of pakoras and watch the sky.
The Indian monsoon has been romanticised in literature for very good reason. We invite you to experience that magic with us the lush greens of Kerala's tea plantations, hot samosas and jalebi in Rajasthan, the Taj as the rain hits the Yamuna, and masala chai to warm yourself afterwards.
India is a tropical country so please expect heat and humidity through the trip. The monsoons are wonderfully refreshing, but they are still monsoons.
We recommend plenty of cotton clothing and light pants, along with comfortable, waterproof shoes. A small umbrella or a packable rain shell is your friend.
